    I bought one of the first DVI LCD monitors from Samsung some years ago and it has given me faultless service but it was time to upgrade and get a bigger one. I'm not keen on mega screen resolutions so this 19 incher at 1440 x 900 seemed about right for my taste. Straight away i was struck with the looks, such a beautiful monitor in it's design with a gorgeous clear perspex bezel with a red tint within the black. The curved back and base also complement it, really sexy. The picture in DVI is crisp and sharp with very good contrast and a bright vibrant picture. I can't really fault it for picture and looks.

    For me the negatives would be that it does sit a little low on the desk which might be fine for occasional use but for me it gets 8 hours plus per day of work use so looking downward is literally a pain in the neck. The monitor offers no height or tilt adjustment but i suppose a monitor stand makes this a minor and easily corrected criticism. The touch sensitive power switch had me thinking the monitor was DOA though until my wife simply touched the power symbol on the front!

    If you don't want to pay the earth and want a nicely designed 19" widescreen monitor with excellent picture then look no further.

    This is a superb monitor from Samsung, looks stunning as a piece of furniture and gives a brilliant picture. I got it a lot cheaper elsewhere, buy this or the 20" or 22" models you will not be disappointed.

    brilliant TFT Widescreen, i got it for 100.74 off a warehouse trader on amazon, got little damage but cheap though! deffo the best 19" screen out there, if i were you! buy it! a new one!
