For images that are stunningly true-to-life you need the 3 Cs: contrast, color and clarity. LED TV Series 6 has them. Its Mega Dynamic Contrast feature brings out all the shades of grey. A Wide Colour Enhancer Plus with LED gamut ensures every entire pixel is robust and vibrant. This enables the TV to display a wider range of natural colours and provide greater depth, even with subtle colours. Plus our 100Hz Motion Plus technology removes edge-blur, leaving your picture smooth and crisp. And your jaw, dropped.
Unlike other "slim" televisions, LED TV Series 6 is one of the slimmest televisions in the world. Instead of multiple parts molded together, it's one solid, seamless, incredibly beautiful advanced television. Elegantly supported by a unique crystal neck, you'll have no trouble finding a place for it in any room.
Utilising enhanced black expression with low haze by optimising the light’s phase and increasing the transparency ratio in ultra clear panel, the new Samsung full HD TVs can reduce reflection of out light and increase contrast.
Your mind won’t believe your eyes. That’s how breathtakingly stunning the picture quality you get with Samsung’s HyperReal engine is. Enabled by Super 3C Realization, the picture is as unrivalled as it is unbelievable. This way, you’re never just watching a movie, you’re living it. Every moment will ring truer, go deeper, feel stronger, look richer. Hard to believe when you’re on your couch.
Samsung continues to be inspired by the beauty found in nature and our latest HDTVs reflect that. Each of our series represent different elements found in nature—Metallic Sensation, Mystic Earth, Stone Black, Rhythmic Lines, and Sierra. And the understated tones change depending on the viewing angle and environment. Skillfully sculpted and ultra-slim, our new Samsung HDTVs are the essence of beauty.
An amazing picture isn’t enough. To really get the full experience from what you’re watching you need SRS theatre sound. Its realistic audio envelopes you with rich, stunning surround sound. And with discreetly hidden speakers, it’s all about the big picture.

Fantastic LED TV,

This review is from: Samsung UE40C6510 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 100Hz Slim AllShare LED Internet TV with Freeview HD (Electronics)
This Samsung UE40C6510 model 6000 series is a neat TV. I got the 40" model and its absolutely stunning. I was a bit concerned about the white colour and was thinking of the black or brown model (UE40C6530 and UE40C6540). They are all identical in specification other than the colour. Surprisingly the white one, which is stunning to look at, is around 100 pounds cheaper than the other two colours. Its got a wood trim look, so it looks kind of cool and retro. Please have a look at the images I have uploaded. Ordered it through Amazon and got it delivered in 2 days. But please note that the price for this TV keeps on fluctuating,.. I will come to more of this at the end of my review.
Unpacking the TV and assembling it with all the inputs was relatively easy. The only part I felt a bit of work needed to be done, was lifting the TV onto its stand. For this you would need 2 people to do it easily. Also please note that while screwing the TV onto its stand, start from the below two screws and then move up. Set-top box connection went to the first HDMI port. My set top box is still SD, not HD, and I was amazed by the quality. Simply awesome when compared to my friends 40"-42" LCD/Plasma TV's. This LED one is definitely worth the extra £200 in terms of clarity and less ghosting or pixelation. Connected my Blueray on HDMI-2, DVD on the scart adaptor and my Nintendo Wii on the AV adaptor. WOW ..!! What fantastic clarity ! The light blue sky on the screen while watching movies, actually even looked better than the real sky. ! LOL. Its that stunning. AWESOME ! I have connected a dummy RF cable on the antenna slot and left the other end unconnected. With that, I've now got 95 channels (TV + Radio + Data). Nice quality as well, but some are scrambled signal :) Internet TV: Got this configured in under 5 minutes with all the samsung apps installed. I tested youtube and the other usual apps. All are decent enough, though nothing great to write about. DLNA: The setup is pretty easy. Just google it to find how you can set your Vista or Windows 7 to act as a DLNA server. You would then get a pop-up saying that the TV40C6000 is trying to connect to your machine. Say yes, and the setting is done. On the TV, choose Source option on the remote, and you would see your machine name-user name listed there. Just click on that and surf your local disk and play whatever video or photo images you want to. That simple (if you get the hang of it) ! And finally, the USB connection. I connected my Samsung 500GB external HDD, and instant access to all my old movie collection. Plays avi, mkv, asf, mp4, 3gpp etc. As of now it doesn't support AVCHD and thats a drawback as my HD camera records video in this format. Now the price, there seems to be some problem with amazon where the price ranges from 760 to 709 as of 30-Aug-2010. It seems they are following the price of the other retailer Hughes Direct. If you find that you bought it at a higher price and the price has dropped, dont worry, just give amazon a call and they will price match it to the lower price straight away. Real helpful guys. I got around 30 pounds off after I had placed the order, so can you !

Simply Incredible - Over the moon,

This review is from: Samsung UE40C6510 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 100Hz Slim AllShare LED Internet TV with Freeview HD (Electronics)
We recently upgraded our previous LCD (32" 2nd Gen Samsung) to this beautiful television after reading seemingly hundreds of reviews on the internet and in magazines.
Looking at the huge selection of televisions currently out: LCD / LED / Plasma / 3D etc. I was so confused about what to get and the more I researched the more confused I got. Eventually I picked a few I liked off the Amazon website and browsed all the big retail stores to look at my favoured ones in the flesh. Finally I set my sights on this beauty, and man am I impressed! From the moment you get this out of the box the beauty hits you - it really is gorgeously designed. The white around the edges is like a crystal wood-like effect and is gorgeous, so different to anything I've seen before. Then switching on - the quality of the picture is truly oustanding. Be warned, however, that with any bigger TV, if like us you have a very poor reception area, the inadequacies of your signal are highlighted ever more. In general though the colours are vibrant, the whites are purest white, the blacks are the deepest I've seen, the definition and clarity is awesome as is the contrast. You will need to fiddle around with the settings to find what's right for you, but there are so many combinations of things you can do to the colour, contrast, backlight etc. that you'll have no problem finding the perfect picture. I was so chuffed with the picture I convinced the wife to invest in a blu ray set (as it would be a sin with this TV not to), and last night we popped in AVATAR. In all honesty I've never seen anything like this through a TV set. You have to see it to believe it. My wife, who is usually the first to pick holes in the picture, even she said that there were numerous moments in the movie that looked BETTER than when in 3D in the cinema. I've also had the xbox 360 on this, and this is also visually gorgeous. Although I will say that on one game at least - Red Dead Redemption - you need to turn off the MotionPlus otherwise the game stutters. I'm sure I'll be playing most of my games again now, just to see how they look. Forza3 is a sight to behold. The Anynet is also brilliant. We have a Samsung Home Cinema, the Samsung TV, and a Samsung Blu Ray player. All work together flawlessy - the TV picked them all up automatically and we can use all of them off one remote. It even turns off it's own sound to play sound through the home cinema! Sound-wise, this model is streaks ahead of our old television. I'd looked at the specs and thought the sound would be puny, but we were suprised to find that the sound is really punchy - especially considering the thinness of the set. So even though we have a home cinema we hardly need to use it. I'd read alot of reviews about the Samsung 6 LED series talking about backlighting issues - and this was my biggest concern when purchasing the set. Well - as far as my set is concerned, I'm really pleased to report I have absolutely no backlight issues whatsoever - no clouding / searchlight issues or anything. When you're watching something in the darkest of rooms, only then can you see the faintest (I mean REALLY faint i.e. 99.9% unnoticable) of light in the corners - but in no way does this detract from anything. Also a quick mention for Amazon. Not only were they the cheapest place to buy this TV from, but through Amazon Prime I got free next day delivery; and actually received my TV the next day at 8.30am in the morning - talk about speedy. So - as you can tell, one very very very pleased customer here. If you're struggling to find the right TV amongst the hundreds available then please take some of my advice - buy this one. The Samsung UE40C6510 is stylish, gorgeous to look at, has an incredible picture, great sound, good connectivity - the mutt's nuts. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing TV,
This review is from: Samsung UE40C6510 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 100Hz Slim AllShare LED Internet TV with Freeview HD (Electronics)
Audio visual aficionados may find faults with this TV but for the average person who wants a great TV at home, this is perfect. The images are exceptionally sharp with deep solid blacks and the clarity on HD channels is astonishing with SD channels looking very good too. Sound is not its strongest point but its perfectly adequate, and fed through a hi-fi (you need to have an optical in to do this) will match the excellent image quality.
The internet TV bit wasn't a reason to buy this but its a mildly entertaining novelty - I may use BBC iPlayer and LoveFilm but that's about it however, others may appreciate Twitter and Facebook amongst other things on their telly. What surprised me was that the frame, which looks silver in pictures, is actually white wood effect - sounds worse than it is, look pleasant but be aware if you were colour co-ordinating your lounge. The price of this TV seems to be dropping on a daily basis, so grab this high end TV while it's a bargain.
