I am all thumbs. Is it easy to intall this TV? Is it okay for me to just plug a signal and power line into appropriate outlets? 2 days ago
I am going to be very honest with you, I wouldn't bother with this tv. I bought one & within 15 months the screen had broken. It wasn't over used or knocked, just went off. Looking online, this series of Samsung's had issues. I was told by Samsung that it would cost more to replace the screen then it would to replace the TV, which I did with an LG. If you do buy this, it is easy to set up, but do so at your own risk.
Does the UF22F500022 have a scart connector and will I be able to connect my Freesat scart as well as an aerial input a the same time. 22 Apr 2014
Dear James, My 22 " Samsung has a scart and aerial. In our poor reception area I get a good signal from Freesat and fairly good from the stations my old roof aerial finds. If you have a problem get a know-all to do you a flow diagram. regards John. I am VERY pleased
Yes it does, on the rear (marked "Digital Audio out (Optical)) and I have an optical cable connected to a cinema system which works fine. As a point of interest it does not have a VGA input for PCs. Regards Steve.
I tried playing movies in the format mp4, mkv and mpeg. And it all worked very good.
Does it have HDMI and USB ports on the side of the unit? (So I can plug in a chromecast, and keep it mounted flush to the wall) 6 Aug 2014
Yes it does, HDMI to connect to Blu ray player etc, and a USB for Memory stick ( photos, movies etc) on it. Nice TV all round ,
