Attaching to a PC or laptop reveals its full character. No dead/stuck pixels on this one. Games have no ghosting or other weirdness just flowing movement and great contrast and colour. Attaching an Xbox360 is easy and again the picture looks very good. You can buy a PC-only version of this which is cheaper but you lose the TV and/or the ability to add a FreeviewHD box (they're very cheap now).
More than a simple TV this TV-Monitor has many advantages: suits both PC and TV, great resolution and response times is very light and so portable. Ideal anywhere space is restricted (don't need both a tv and a monitor) or for anyone who just wants a great PC monitor and TV in one.
It took a little fiddling with resolutions but I have got it looking pretty sweet with the macbook now. Not quite as crisp as the macbook's own screen but I guess you have to allow for the fact that it's twice the size, and maybe I still haven't got it on its most optimal setting. So 9/10 there.
The stand is fine, not very flash but steady and easy to adjust angle.
Sound quality from built in speakers very, very impressive. That's a big plus for this monitor - no need for desk-cluttering external speakers but it still sounds great.
Packaging and delivery good as always from amazon. But the delivery company just left it behind the front door when nobody was in??
Can't believe a previous reviewer complaining about not being a HD TV Tuner?? No, course it's not - it's a Digital Freeview Tuner like many other TV Tuners on the market.
If you want Freeview HD - you have to pay for it!!! (or use a HD source from other equipment)
Use it in my conservatory with feeds from my lounge Sky HD Box, Sky Multi Room box in the same room and the Digital Freeview tuner on the TV as well.
Haven't tried the Connect Share yet,although will do at some time.
Looks good, picture is fine (but then is always going to be at this size - 50 inch plus TV's test the signal!)
