In my review I would like to clear up some confusion from other reviews.
I spent a long time looking at this item and reading all the reviews, from different websites too, so I will list some things I saw and what I discovered.
Please note, in all of the following I have not used this screen as a TV.
I bought it for the purpose of a big computer monitor and a screen for my PS3, so other peoples opinions may be different when using it as a TV.
First off, I saw one review (on another website i think) that said this model didn't have speakers. Well it has.
Alot of people have meantioned the sound quality, when I loaded a PS3 Game (COD5 if it matters) I didn't notice it at first, until I started a game and it did sound quite a bit 'tinny' however, I played for about an hour and I completely forgot about the 'bad' sound quality, so yes, its very tinny and there's no bass to it, but it is clear and it didn't annoy me, so I'm happy with that.
2. 1080p. When running the PS3 through the HDMI, this screen DOES run in 1080p mode, so the people who say 'that can't happen' well it does. My other TV runs at 1080i and will not display anything if the PS3 tries to run at 1080p. So I can confirm that this unit runs at 1080p, the picture quality is very, very good. I'm used to playing on a 37" TV, and I got used to this 22" screen very quick, and I have problems seeing detail on other peoples TV's sometimes.
When running as a computer monitor it runs at the maximum resolution advertised, the picture is very, very crisp and clear, and I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. the screen is big enough to run 2 applications side by side, which is what I need it for when running as a pc.
As other people have meantioned the brightness is excellent! As a monitor it was maybe a little too bright, which can be fixed with the settings very easily, I'm very happy with the brightness of the screen.
And lastly, the 'wobbly stand' :
When I unpacked this I set it up on my computer desk, I decided to give the desk a nudge to see what happened, and yes it does shake a little bit like a jibba jabba, however my desk is fairly sturdy and it didn't wobby when typing. It will be used on a solid office desk which doesn't move at all, so this won't be a problem what-so-ever for me. I can understand people having problems when using this on a cheap make it yourself computer desk.
I think thats everything I wanted to meantion. The issue about it being 5ms and not 2ms as advertised I do not know, and I don't know how to find out, so I can't help there.
