The folder-style design includes a large colour LCD display showing 128 x 160 pixels, but the phone still fits comfortably in your palm. Users can pick any wallpaper they want for the TFT LCD display. The external LCD display shows caller IDs so that users can identify the caller without even opening the phone. The display also shows the current time, date, signal strength meter and battery meter. The external LCD display has a sapphire-blue backlight--the trademark of Samsung phones.
In addition to the high resolution TFT LCD display, users can also enjoy 16-poly ring tone melodies. Unlike conventional beep sounds, the 16-poly ring tone melody plays clear music. The ring tone can be used for incoming calls and alarm alerts. Speed dial to access ring tone select menu is another excellent feature. Users can select frequently used features beforehand to avoid going through the menus. By simply opening the phone and stating the function or the phone number, users can activate a call or operation. Twenty different voice commands and voice-dialling functions for up to 20 numbers provide every service you need.
The phone can memorise up to 500 phone numbers that can easily be retrieved. By using the CD and cable that come with the package, users can maximise the unique capabilities of the T100 phone. The CD contains 200 colour images and 200 melodies that will give the user's phone new features every day.

The King of Mobiles.......,
This review is from: Samsung T100 - O2 - Pay And Go (Electronics)
Well, I tell you, I wanted this phone for a long time - and, after being refused contracts from all the major companies (i can get a house, a car... but not a mobile phone contract? lol) i ended up buying the phone outright... for £270.i am glad to say, however, that i was not disappointed at all. the box itself contains the phone (in a snazzy jewellery-style box), a hands-free kit (that is worn around your neck, and that the phone itself attaches to), two batteries (one standard, one extended, and although the extended is bigger it's still not too bad at all to carry around) and a PC Link Cable (attaches to a serial port on your PC and to your phone, and enables you to transfer ringtones (try Mobelee for an awesome amount of free ringtones) and also transfer pics to display on the phone desktop. Also, you get the software that allows you to do all this. The TFT screen is a gem - it is most certainly the best 4096 colors screen i have seen around recently, and the clarity to the display is simply beautiful. Polyphonic ringtones, of course, as appears to be the standard nowadays anyway, and an easy to use menu system, with voice activated dialing as well, simply polish off this phone as being the most superior item in it's class. Oh, and to "Disappointed Owner" - there is a silent mode, just hold down the # key for a few seconds!

Pretty good, but could be better,
This review is from: Samsung T100 - O2 - Pay And Go (Electronics)
This handset has alot going for it, some of the features are superb, it's just a shame that there are some little niggles that spoil your enjoyment of the phone. The main selling point is the colour screen and the polyphonic ring tones. The screen is excellent, the little screen shows better images than you would expect on a screen of this size and the handset comes pre loaded with some good pictures and screen savers, and the supplied CD-ROM has some more. The best bit though, is the ability to download your own from your PC with the supplied link cable. The handset itself will hold eight images and can show only one or scroll through them all. You can take advantage of this to create an animated screen saver of your own (with a little creativity, I managed to get the Matrix code scrolling down the screen.) The polyphonic ring tones sound good too, but here is where the biggest niggle is. Like the pictures, the handset comes with loads of ring tones and you can download more from your PC or the CD-ROM. The problem is that the phone uses a specific sound format that I had real difficulty finding on the net, and you will need to find some ring tones and sound effects for yourself because if the supplied tunes don't annoy you immediatly, they will soon. The last real niggle is that the text input just doesn't feel as fluid as it does on a Nokia. The rest of the features are good, and what you'd expect to find on handsets of this price anyway. Overall, it's a good handset, you just feel that the manufacturers were just so happy with the screen that they forgot to refine everything else to such a high standard.

Excellant Phone,
By A Customer
This review is from: Samsung T100 - O2 - Pay And Go (Electronics)
This phone is great, it has all the features you need. The best thing is the polyphonic ringtones they sound just like the real songs. There is a website on the WAP where you can get nearly every song you want as your ringtone. The screensavers are great too, you customize the phone really easily from the CD-ROM with the phone. I'd recommend this phone to all.
