good hdd a tad noisey but after a few days you seem to not hear it, dont get me wrong but might just be the one i got its fast and works well under strain a good purchase for the price.

Surprised to receive the hard disc drive just packed in a cardboard book pack with only a thin plastic shell around the contents. HDDs normally come packed in a good 5cm of foam padding. I didn't expect the drive to work - but it's going fine. It must be pretty robust.

I'd like to know if this is now standard packaging for HDDs from Amazon, if so, I'd be hesitant to order an HDD from Amazon again.

An excellent product (it was recommended to me by a guy at PC world) - delivery was extremely efficient even though post at the moment can be erratic.
