This is a good sound dock for the Galaxy S2. It does increases the sound of the phone. This is a passive dock, so you can't charge youre phone when you use it. I have also bought the desk dock. It would have been better, if they have made a "all around" dock, for playing music, charging and synchronesing at the same time.

The one disappointing thing about the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the lack of options to play your music on other devices (ports on music systems etc). This is not the answer. Think you could achieve the same sound quality by placing your mobile in a bucket. Save your £30+.

I bought this dock to use when I'm at home or when travelling. It boosts the sound level of the phone's speaker and creates a slightly fuller sound.
I wasn't expecting anymore than that as the range of the phone's speaker isn't going to create an audiofile experience!
It does exactly as I expected and required. I find that when the phone is placed down on a desk or table the speaker is covered and therefore reduces its volume, so I wanted this dock to boost the alarm sounds and ringtones. It's also good for those moments when I'm travelling and just want a little bit of background music. It looks very neat with the phone docked on my bedside table, as a travel clock and as a photo/video/iplayer stand. Like the other review it loses one star as it would be good if it had charging capability built in for the phone. That said you can still plug the charger into the phone whilst in the stand, it just doesn't look as neat.

Samsung Sound Station
A brilliant product,very clever design - no batteries! A good price, the only down side is that you have to remove the case from your phone to use the docking station.
