It is very light but the suction is great.I've previously had a Dyson - rubbish and over-priced, wouldn't pick up cottons off the bedroom carpet and didn't want to know parquet flooring. My last vacuum was a Vac, which has been okay but is so heavy to lift and push that I have been known to get blisters on the palm of my hand. This time I tried the Samsung before I bought as my Mother-in-law got one, again replacing a Dyson. I was very impressed with the price, easiness of emptying, height adjustment, length of cord and weight. It makes a bit of noise but then I've never come across a silent vac yet, so what? I have no hesitation in recommending it.

My partner prevented me from buying a SEBO vacuum as although I think they are superb she said it was too heavy. We have just purchased the SAMSUNG and re-vacuumed two rooms that we had just "cleaned" with our trusty old ORECK. We are truly amazed at the amount of fluff and dirt removed by the SAMSUNG. We nearly purchased a DYSON ball machine but I am so pleased that we didn`t. You can buy 6 of the SAMSUNG models for the same cost and yet it is light, easy to use and with excellent suction. The best value vacuum on the planet!

Recently bought the Samsung light vacuum, and think its great! would recommend it to anyone, having a bad back needed a light hoover, [Dysons being way to heavy]and it's definately light, price is good too. The suction is very good[which is a welcome surprise as many hoovers disappoint in this area], easy to clean and manouvre. Yet to try it on the stairs but being light should be ok. Only complaint i have is the plastic is not so sturdy as some, and it's quite noisy. But it does the job, one very satisfied customer
