Smart Filter. Add lens and software effects to your images with Samsung’s Smart Filter. Samsung Smart Filter, lens and colour effects delivers an artistic edge to your subjects. Give them a miniaturized look, or use the Vignetting filter to deliver a strikingly strong contrast effect; and the Fish-Eye filter gives your video or photos a distorted, artistic feel. Colour effects such as sketch and defog can add an expressive layer to your shots.
Record High Definition movies in the palm of your hand. The ST100 is like having a compact HD video camera that also takes professional-grade photos. It records HD video in 1280x720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Its H.264 format also allows you to record twice as much as an MP4 and four times more than an MJPEG – the format used in many other digital cameras. With the HDMI connector, you can watch your HD videos with any HDTV or HD monitor.

My opinion about this camera is the following: It's very handy and easy to use. The pictures are excellent. The only point is the socket for HDMI connection. It's hard to find the HDMI cable for this camera. It differs from all the other types.
