i bought 2 pair of the samsung 2200a/xc glasses for my son and myself. we both wear prescription glasses so it was a pleasant surprise when we tried them out
that they fit comfortably over our normal glasses. i coupled the glasses with samsung 7000 series 50" plasma. i was well impressed with 3d effect that the glasses performed.i also bought these glasses as they are rechargeable.the glasses are a little heavy on the nose but are ok to watch a film ect for a couple of hours even when you convert 2d to 3d the effects are good. i would recommend this productSamsung SSG-2200A/XC Adult Size 3D Glasses - Recharable Battery

I have two pairs of these as well as the non-rechargeable ones.
Both types do the 3D bit in exactly the same way (as they're supposed to), so the only way to judge them is on comfort and value. In this regard they win over the standard pair. I'm not sure they're worth the extra money on that alone, but if you factor in the cost of the batteries that you won't have to buy over the months and years, perhaps they work out cheaper (or better value, at least).
One unexpected thing that I noticed is that the cheaper ones may be a little lighter and the lack of all round frame made me think there was more lens size. I don't think it matters, even if it's true.
The reason for the one star deducted is the cost and the daft power button/light arrangement.

Excellent. Not easy to charge but I did buy 5 at a good price relatively and would highly recommend these glasses and the retailer. Comes well packaged and picture on Samsung C8000 TV is second to none. I have always been loyal to Panasonic but Samsung is better value with pictures at least as good if not better.

This product works perfectly with my Samsung ps50c7000. I've watched A Christmas Carol 3D & also Monsters vs Aliens 3D & the picture quality is totally stunning but the 3D aspect even better. I would recommend this product to anyone with a Samsung 3D TV.
Also used these for PS3 3D games & no issues. I've read some reviews folks saying they get ghosting issues but I have experienced nothing at all like this. The 3D aspect of using these glasses coupled with a Samsung 3D tv is even better than the Avatar 3D cinema experience.

Glasses are working very will with SAMSUNG UE40C7000. USB charging (with USB cable supplied) is very convenient. Good to wear and good performance. (And good price) Reccomended.
Note: In my case instructions were in English (BTW: very simple, propbably not even needed)

I got the 2100 battery operated glasses supplied with my Samsung 3D T'V' I also bought 2 pair of the 2200 rechargeable ones and the difference is more than just cosmetic, the 2200 rechargeable glasses are far more comfortable and give clearer viewing over the top of my prescription glasses than the cheaper 2100's, when I switch mine on a green light blinks once for on, when I switch them off a red light blinks once for off as opposed to the battery operated 2100's were a red light blinks once for on and three times for off and I also found them more fuzzy, so I can't understand the cheap Charlies complaining about the difference in the glasses, even at the RRP of [...] for the 2100's or [...] for the 2200 rechargeables they must know the same maker is going to up the price for better technology so I'd recommend you pay the extra £20 ([...]) for the 2200's and you can't go wrong! You get what you pay for!

Great price compared to anywhere else, also haven't had any crosstalk I've noticed. Got 2 rechargable pairs and the free battery pair with the samsung c750. The battery pair have a ridiculous amount of crosstalk but they might be faulty. Both types are comfortable but the rechargables do look better when wearing

I purchased these glasses along with the Samsung 7000 50" Plasma TV after reading reviews about how good they are, well I've been using them for over a week now along side the one's that come free with the TV and I can honestly say the only difference is the comfort, they are more comfortable than the free ones but as for how the work there is no difference I can tell, on some 3D games and bluray's there is slight crosstalk in places so I watched some of these with one set then the other and there is NO difference, but like I said they are comfortable.

Go for the same model that came with your TV, these lose signal and intermittently turn off very frustrating. Avoid
