Very good display, taking the price into account. Loads of input connectors ranging from HDMI, component with audio, 1 scart RGB (in and out), composite RCA, VGA, DVI and PC audio in. HD sources are displayed crisp though I have only viewed this via the VGA port, up to now. Watching Sky TV looks bad on this set, but I expected that from a non-HD source on a HD television of this size and price range. I'm certain that my analogue TV aerial gives better results than my Sky Box, on this set.
16:9 sources may be changed to full 16:10 or resized to full screen 16:9 (cutting off a bit of the left and right sides of the whatever is being viewed), depending on the input connector used. Another 16:9 option can be used, if desired, to keep the original ratio, thus, adding letterbox boarders. The sound is good, on this monitor, compared to others that I have heard with their weak and screechy audio. I don't feel like I 'have' to connect up my Hi-Fi speakers, but this would obviously provide much better sound. I don't need to say that design is awesome, the pictures show it. Viewing angle of 170/170? You can see the screen very well... very, very well from all extreme angles, apart from below, the monitor. The stand is also strange. I found it very difficult to put the TV on it (required a lot of force) and it doesn't allow the TV to tilt very much, or swerve from left to right at all.
A high quality monitor from Samsung, prioritised for High resolution viewing and no real faults. HDCP is a bonus.
