I am a keen photo blogger (flickr etc) and the thought of owning a 5mp camera phone was very tempting.

Having read some of the supposed 'independent reports' I can honestly say I feel completely let down.

The main problem is the quality of the pictures, these are manifest as :

* Over exposed (in *any* light)

* Ineffectual flash (in *all* conditions)

* Shutter speed - *blurring* unless you get all your subjects to remain completely still at all times.

* Inability to correctly maintain/select the correct colour temperature. I even tried to white balance with white paper before I used it.

In my previous career I was using digital images daily so i do understand the limitations of budget camera electronics, but this phone has some of the worst firmware or design features ever.
I thought for a while it was my phone, but on talking to other phone owners, I can confirm the problem is inerrant in all of these phones.
This is not a moan-fest, but you should also beware if you are a keen texter. The keys are clumsy and predictive text is possibly a very weak feature of the software too. Try adding a new word to the dictionary, you will be seriously annoyed when it doesn't save.

On a positive note, the phone feels great, call quality is good and the bluetooth works well. The radio works well and you can record straight to MP3, but there is no RDS <- bunch of cheapskates!

I hope Orange take this back as a part exchange, if not I may just buy something better and give it to my daughter as she will like the sleek looks, but that is the only thing that really makes this phone worth buying.

When i ordered the product he contacted me informing me that the certain parts of the product were not working and if i wished to still recieve the product, but i did not wish for it, He then refunded the Order asap and provided great adivce and service to me when something went wrong at my end all around good buyer and i wish to use his services again
