Replaced a broken drive on my Vista desktop and acts as a portable drive for a W7 netbook. Works fine, plays DVDs, writes DVDs....
(The previous £8 CD drive I had went wrong after 8 months ....so this £25 drive seems marvellous in comparison.)

i have just purchased this little peice of kit for my netbook so i can burn my dvd and cds. this is so easy to install the software and burning is not a problem. i have to admit for 20 odd quid this is fantastic value and you will be pushed to get any better. i am delighted with this and would highly recommend it to anyone. i just have window 7 starter on my netbook and it runs perfectly. well this is the best buy i have done in a long long time

This player only needs one usb to work despite what i read in other reviews. It's a great plpayer and a great price!

Great little drive
Bought this for use with my mini mac - as it doesnt have a cd drive. So far its worked flawlessly and doesnt take up much room, easy to throw in a drawer when not required. Read more

A really easy to use disc player and burner. It does exactly what it says, looks good and is easy to travel with. Highly recommend it.

It does it's job, but I wish id paid a little extra for a better...

Works with macbook pro
Brought for my 2012 macbook pro 15 inche because i added second hdd in place of my built-in dvd rom, and this works fine for itunes and everything else. I'd recommend to anyone.

Great drive for the price,but yes, a bit flimsy.
