I had searched long and hard for a decent bluetooth stereo headset. I had long been interested in them back when they were the larger type, but I thought I would wait until the technology improved to have them as the smaller in-ear type headphones. I had just ordered the new Samsung i8910 phone (sidebar:amazing phone) and wanted a new bluetooth headset to go with it. I decided on the Samsung headset over the alternatives as they would firstly look good with my phone but also as I have alot of Samsung electronics and have never been disappointed.

Thankfully I again was very pleased with this purchase, the headset is amazing and is my current favourite gadget even though I dont commute far and so dont have much opportunity to use them.

Build Quality/appearance:
As soon as you take the headset out of the box you are firstly amazed at quality look of the receiver unit. The black brushed steel effect facia and the reassuringly solid build make it feel like a high quality item. My only gripe would be the (silver effect) grey plastic used for the trim on the main unit and the earphones. If this was a better chrome effect it would of matched most phones better and given an even greater sense of quality. However that really is splitting hairs as everyone always comments on how nice the unit looks.

Sound Quality:
I was delighted with the sound produced by the unit. I was expecting as it was over bluetooth that the quality wouldnt of been that great but the headset pumped out sound at equal if not slightly better than with the standard wired connecting provided. I think the only dedterioration in sound was likely due to my phones capabilities rather than the headset so I cannot fault it on this basis. I would be eager to try the unit with other items to test this further but have not had opportunity to do this as yet.

Ease of use:
From the moment you take it out of the box it is incredibly easy to use. You simply need to turn the headset receiver unit on and it will automatically enter pairing mode. You simply then search for it with your bluetooth device, enter a standard pairing code and it will automatically connect. Each time you then connect in future its simply a case of turning on the unit and pressing the play button and it will instantly connect to your device (as long as its in range). Answering calls is also very easy, I am still to master the functions such as holding and rejecting calls but generally calls can be answered quickly. The unit will automatically pause your music and then when the call is finished will resume. The unit has a simple interface, on the facia of the receiver are the volume up and down keys on either side of the call Answer key. On the side of the unit nearest the headphone socket you will find the power switch and the play/pause button. On the opposite edge you will find the skip forward and back keys. All are very easy and intuitive to use when out and about. The headphones provided can be replaced with your own which im sure will again improve sound quality but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of those provided. The cable is also long enough so that they are easy to use. The unit is provided both with a clothes clip attached to the back of the unit and also with an attachment so it can be worn as a pendant around your neck. I find it easiest to use with the clothes clip but the pendant provides a good alternative should you require it.

Overall:
Overall the unit makes a very impressive package and provides good value for money. There is something very satisying in being able to listen to your music while you do household chores without the mess of wires and knowing your phone (bluetooth device) is in another room. I will certainly be recommending these to friends and family and have already agreed to purchase one for my partner for his birthday.

I purchased Samsung SBH650 Bluetooth earphone to use with HTC HD2. Configuration was straight forward and features wise it is easy to use. The fully charged battery lasts for 8 hours and the range is nearly 8 - 10 ft. I mainly use these earphones while jogging and I never had any problem of sound drop or any noise in last 2 months. The HTC HD2 provided headset doesn't have the option to control the volume and each time mobile needs to be unlocked and control the volume by touch screen. The Samsung headset allows volume control, track change; pause/stop etc which is quite handy particularly when mobile is somewhere deep in the pocket protected from rainy British weather. I have used these headsets in moderate raining condition without any problem though it may not be recommended. The earphone is quite better than average earphones with limited support for background noise filtering. I am 100% satisfied with this product considering its price, features etc.

I'm not sure why this product is listed as 'Bluetooth Car Speakerphone', I suppose you could use it in the car but I, like most others, I suspect, bought it to listen to music on my phone without feeling like I've been wired up for some kind of medical test!

It arrived very quickly and was easy to set up. I think it paired with my 'phone on the second attempt. The ear-buds supplied are very comfortable and don't fall out. I like the one's supplied with my Samsung phone and these are the same, apart from the fact that the wires are the same length, which is a bonus as I could never understand why different length wires was useful at all.

The sound is good, there is no appreciable loss of quality due to it being wireless, in fact I would say there's a slight improvement over my 'fully wired' version.

The instruction manual is ok, but to be honest, after the device is paired and working, you won't really need it. The device hangs around your neck on a cord and also clips to your clothing with plenty of length in the headphone wires for you to wear anything you like, without being distracted by it, you just switch it on, pair up your 'phone and off you go.

Battery life is ok, the only thing I find slightly annoying is when you get the 'bleep bleep' warning that you need to charge it, you've only got a few minutes before it goes off, meaning that a couple of times I've left the house, got on the bus, and it's gone 'bleep bleep' then off, and I've got no headphones for the day, but now I'm used to how long it lasts (about 3 days for me, couple of hours use per day) I charge it up before that happens.

Overall, for 30 odd quid, very good quality product which doesn't make you look like you're wearing the latest electronic tag for your ears like some other bluetooth headphones. These are nice and discreet and sound great.
