After some debating and browsing around I decided to get a second monitor to accompany my Syncmaster P2270HD and this is the product I settled for and it doesn't disappoint. It is very thin and lightweight meaning that it is easy to move around, transport and easy to fit into a small office. The picture clarity is top notch, due to a combination of the 5,000,000:1 aspect ratio, quite high brightness for a 21.5" screen and 1920x1080 resolution. It also has a lower response time of 2ms compared to the 5ms of the standard S22A300, not to mention an HDMI port for those of you wanting to hook it up to a PS3 or blu-ray player. It's also cheaper than the standard 300 monitor. It is a standard plug and play set up, with an auto adjusting service for those of you who don't know what or how to set up the finer details of a monitor. I don't know what the other reviewer means that it doesn't look correct without drivers, mine looked absolutely fine before and after the process.
However it is worth noting that there is no built in TV function (something a lot of Samsung monitors have) so look for another one if you want this function. It also has no inbuilt speakers, something I am deducting a star for since that is not clearly mentioned in the product description. I know that most people, myself included, use a separate speaker system but this is normally a basic function for modern monitors.
Overall this monitor is a top product, especially for the price. It's built to a high quality, as are all Samsung monitors, and the picture is very clear. It's actually better than the basic S22A300 specs wise and is also (currently) £20 cheaper so I'd recommend this if you're looking for a new monitor. However due to the lack of inbuilt speakers I'm only going to give this product 4/5.
