Whilst the toners cartriges are not expensive as such, I only got 300 pages before the Cayan ran out and another 100 then the magenta went.
These were A4 leaflets not photo's or anything.

I bought these after looking around other sellers and found Amazon to be the best price. They arrived quickly and are all original units. My printer runs fine with them and I've probably had more use than they estimate.

Cost of toner
I dont understand why it is cheeper to buy a new printer than to buy new toners, so it makes more sense to buy a new printer and sell the old one at a car boot sale

short lived use
I agree, very expensive to run - I moved from a HP inkjet as lasers are "much cheaper" to run - rubbish. Works out even worse than the HP ink.
