What more needs to be said? It's a SAMSUNG and if it performs as well as all the other Samsung products we own it will be Brilliant. No problems so far, very easy to set-up and easy to manage without help. Maybe one would need assistance if wall mounting the TV but on the stand very easy. This replaced a good 32" set and the difference is startling. You could almost be there with the presenter. Excellent, quick, careful, delivery and well packaged.
Update: March 2011 and it has not missed a beat. For the price it cannot be beaten. Very easy set-up and easy to adjust through a good menu. At the price you will find it hard to beat.

I search the internet and shops looking for a good cheap tv.
After seeing this 42inch Samsung Plasma TV from amazon the price was right so i bought it.
came the next day.
Straight out of the box on to my new stand conected all the cables.
Turned it on and it scanned for stations and wow what a picture perfect sound quality great.
it is very very slim and looks beautiful.
I cannot fault this TV in anyway so 5 out of 5.
No one could be diopointed buying the Model.
We can stand inches from the screen and its picture perfect no blur or movent at all.Love it.
We made the right choice in the end.

Not actually HD...
The picture quality whilst reasonable is actually not HD (technically).
HD requires a minimum resolution of 1280x720 yet this screen reproduces all imagery at 1024x768. Read more
