Hidden front 1.5" LCD
With a Dual display 3" LCD there's an easier way to take perfect self portraits.
On the front of the camera is a 1.5" LCD that shows you exactly what the picture will look like, so you can now be a subject of the picture, as well as the photographer.
With a quick button on top, users can easily access front LCD functions like: Self portrait, Couple shot, and Child mode which now features animations and sounds!

HD Movie mode
The PL150 is like having a compact HD video camera that also takes professional-grade photos. It records HD video in 1280 x 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. It's H.264 format also allows you to record twice as much as an MP4, and four times more than an MJPEG – the format used in many other digital cameras – and delivers much higher video and sound quality. With the HDMI connector you can watch your HD videos with any HDTV or HD monitor.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!My boyfriend got me this as a present for my birthday yesterday. What can I say? I am amazed! You can do so many things. The front screen is a must have, I don't see why somebody hasn't invented this before! My favourite feature: The new 'couple shoot which detects when our two heads come together and also when you smile and takes the photo for you. (You can turn this feature off if you wish) I always find it annoying when you want a nice picture with two people in it and you can't tell what you look like. However, within minutes I have mastered this and can now take brilliant photos of us together. (Which avoids the akwardness of asking for some stranger to take a picture of you) Other great features: * The angle you can sit the camera at, which does make it good if you have it sat on a table etc as it misses the end off. * It has blink detection which means it will take another picture straight away if somebody blinks. * Countdown Timer displayed on the front screen when setting a timer. * Jump mode, tells you when to jump and also takes 3 photos (Great fun) * Children mode now plays music (and you can choose the sound played) * Smart mode which automatically selects light etc I have nothing bad to say about this camera. It's a great price and it does so much. I have only had it one day and there is more to it then what I have mentioned. It is a shame there is not much purple on the side but the sleet black makes this camera look expensive and really neat. Some people have said this camera is thick in size but I disagree and think that if it was any thinner it was be hard to hold. I wouldn't buy anything other than this camera, not even the ST550 as there are some new features like couple shoot and music on children's mode. (Only two of many) ** Note this camera takes Micro SD card. **

I treated myself to this after a long while of searching many different websites in the hopes of finding a nice camera to capture those special memorys. i have not been dissapointed, im so pleased i plumped to get this one. i would reccomend it to everyone after a camera. such good features and easy to use. only downside is that it doesnt come with a memory card which you have to buy seperately but that isnt much of an issue! brilliant camera. **********

Great camera, love the 2nd screen and it's uses! Takes really good pics the Smart Auto function is great and takes some lovely pics. You will definately need to buy a memory card and case as the camera holds very few photos. My only negative is that the camera can be slow in taking the pic sometimes which can mean you miss what you were trying to take a photo off, but when choosing a camera I noticed this was said about a lot of cameras so this is probably unavoidable!
