This laptop is excellent value for money. Build quality is high, the 17" screen is superb and Vista runs beautifully.
The built-in webcam and card reader are nice touches and work well.
There are USB ports on both sides of the machine as well as at the back and somewhat brilliantly, there is also an HDMI port as well.
When it's on, you can hardly hear it running which is a bonus.
As for graphical power, I've only tried the original Call of Duty so far but that runs flawlessly at max settings. I am very pleased.

Having got rid of my desktop PC due to space restrictions in our 1 bed flat, I have been looking for a 17" laptop within a tight budget. After doing some research I came across this laptop and it arrive yesterday.
As mentioned its for the flat so portability is not a priority as its is a tad heavy. It comes with Vist Home Premium, the screen is excellent. I like the full size keyboard and the feel of it is excellent.
So far its run everything I have needed, multitasking between spreadsheets, bit of poker and an older online game. Its got a dedicated graphics card, not an onboard option which is good.
Very pleased with the machine, would highly recommend for a budget desktop replacement.

I've had this two weeks and am very pleased. Have I any gripes? It would be good to have Microsoft Office installed with it rather than some of the fancy softwear I am unlikely to use, but I can appreciate why it's an add on.
The screen is like a limpid pool, pictures look crisp and sharp. Sound is great, keyboard great. I bought an optical mouse to go with it. It is even compatible with my 3 year old printer (HP) which was a bonus.
Vista is easy to get used to (I was on XP for years) although I don't use the much vaunted side bar.
There's a built in camera. Very good value for money.
