This cover is described as ''Mesh Metal Material'' but it appears to be stiff ABS plastic with a tiny aluminium plate inscribed 'Galaxy S'. That said, it is very light, a perfect fit for the back & sides of the phone and provides a very good grip when holding. I chose this case as I carry the phone in my pocket and need to be able to get it out easily, which the the thin, sticky silicone 'cases' don't allow.

I really like the style of this case, yes it's plastic but it has the look of punched metal. Considering how expensive the Galaxy S is the back of the phone is surprisingly plastic and ordinary,this case brings it into a whole new league.
It's a perfect snug fit and all of the phones buttons are still easily accessed. Once on it allows a nice firm grip of the phone, without the case the phone was worryingly slippery.

Please dont advertise this item as being metal when its 100% plastic. Good fit and makes my samsung feel nice thx.
