Well, I bought this television on Saturday and I must say how impressed I am with its overall high standard. A Smart, black and shiney veneer of quality perfectly compliments the crisp 1080p full high definition veiewing experience.
My playstation 3 connected with a good quality monster hdmi cable looks amazing. Especially with the complimentary Blue Ray Casino Royale DVD. Bog Standard 480p Sky tv looks as good as its going to get on a 46inch LCD. No shadowing, motion blurr or dead pixels so far. I can honestly say, if you are Uming and Areing over buying a television (as i did) you wont be disapointed with this one. + Points Stylish, Quality look. Big 1080p Full High definition Screen 3 HDMI Slots Future Proof Resolution and connectivity. Comes with a screen clean cloth - Points The screen gives off some heat if its in a small room. But saves on electricity due to lower gas bills. The Black finish gets slightly dusty after a week or two. if you've got £1300 to spend. I would recommend it.

I would give the HD picture quality 5 out of 5 Stars as it is excellent. I have used SKY HD and watched the movies at 720p and they look awesome, you really can tell the difference. The Footy looks brilliantly clear and the screen is huge!
I am waiting to my PS3 to arrive and test the Blu-Ray 1080P out, I'll be amazed if its any better than 720P and I'm sure it will be! The only downside to the TV is that the speakers are at the rear. Odd I know but this is clever in the aspect that the TV looks nice ergonomically, but the sound is actually louder on the rear of the telly than the front. So you have to crank the volume up just that little bit more than normal to gain the desired front volume. This is a problem for me as I was going to mount the TV on the wall, I now live in a semi-detached - Dont wanna pee the neighbours off..... Something to think about when buying this TV. As for price-performance - you can't go wrong with this one ! UPDATED - bought the Samsung HT-TX35R - DVD 5.1 Home Cinema System - With HDMI - Matches perfectly with the telly. Sound no longer comes out of the telly but through the 5.1 speakers - really awesome. PS3 is fantastic on this screen although you may have to play with the settings a little to get the best black and colour ratios. 6 weeks on and still pleased with my purchase.

I bought this to use with a PS3, Sky HD and an upscaling DVD player. I can't comment on sound quality but picture is excellent from all sources. I am using Belkin PureAV hdmi cables.
Movement tracking, fine detail exceed expectations. I would match this against the Sony 46W I also demo'd. Personal preferences on picture and appearance gave the nod to Samsung in my case. The picture is warmer.
