I have just bought one of the TV's and it is amazing. I can't quite see how S. Ginsberg gives it only one star when he hasn't even tried one - Works perfect in 3D through the PS3! Bluray is fantastic on it as is the Freeview HD. TV also looks fantastic with it's black and clear surround. You wouldn't know it's an LCD when watching it - I don't personally think the LED's are worth the extra cash.
Internet works well although I'm not sure how much I'll use it as the PS3 also has iPlayer built in. The Love Film app lets you stream films if you are a member. I also like the fact that the built in planner lets you record programs to either a memory stick or HDD eliminating the need for a PVR! All in all, I would highly recommend this TV. Don't forget to order your free pair of 3D glasses through the Samsung Connect website. **UPDATE September 2010** My TV has unfortunately developed a fault - it now has a blue line right down the middle of the screen. I've spoken with Samsung who have instructed a company to fix the TV, they currently have a new LCD screen on order, I've been waiting a week now but still not been to see it! It seems that based on other reviews, these screens are plauged with problems, I'm gutted as I love the TV! **Further update** My TV has now been fixed, they have replaced the LCD screen in it. They said part of the screen's pixels we not energising from white to black. Even though it had a fault, I still love the TV, still 5 stars from me!

ill keep this short as im terrible with spelling and grammar.
first thing is first . the tv is utterly astounding . my reasons for this are exactly the same as written in the other excellent reviews posted on here. so im just go add a little about the ps3. setting up is complete doddle . the ps3 picks it up as 3d display . when you play a 3d game you will be presented with an option as to whether you want to play in 3d. once you click yes . the tv pops up a little message telling you put on your glasses and you off ......one word . breathtaking . super star dust has rocks and boulders coming at you from the screen . the depth is incredible . again with wipeout the depth is what makes it so special . the HUD (speed and lap info) floats right infront of the main screen . motorstorm is one of the best examples of 3d in terms of full bluray disc game. sadly its only a demo but mud, water and tyres fly at your from the screen while making the game look like your playing through a window .words cant describe, it really is incredible and i can see why sony are staying strong to it , depsite all the backlash of people complaing about glasses . a quick note about that . if you are waiting for the non glasses (lenticular) 3d tvs to come out first . i really wouldnt bother . panasonic have stated that these tvs will not come out for at least 5-10 years . the resoultion will be halved for each eye due to the tv having to display two images at once . which for people who want the full 1080p or the best picture quality they cant get it unless the tv has double the resolution and progress for making seating postions adaptable is not moving anyway . the lens on the tv will only work at a certain distance and you have to be bang smack in front of the tv. ow and the killer part of this is that supposdly due to lenses, these tvs will only be able to play 3d content.....well that what it says on panasonics website. pretty shocking. if you want 3d with full hd . active shutter glasses is the only way (for at least a fair while) Im blabbing on . its an awesome tv .... 5 stars ps . the love film app works very well . i have a love film account .so once you have put your log gin details on the tv you can stream 1000s of movies instantly to the tv. it will buffer a few times when other people are using the internet (downloading) but thats not the tvs fault.

Im finding it quite difficult to find any faults with the tv. The picture is quite frankly stunning even compared to my 2 year old sony 40' lcd. The sound is adequate although not exceptional, which is not an issue as thats what my reciever is for. Overall as a standard tv it is an excellent buy.
Tv's have come a long way in two years since i bought my last one. The internet connectivity on this is pretty good. Apps such as iplayer and lovefilm are standard with various games for free as well. Facebook, twitter, youtube etc etc there was alot more on there than i thought there would be. With an inbuilt PVR if you have a memory stick or external hard drive being an excellent feature, you aren't short of stuff to do from your tv. I also had the tv connected to my home network within a matter of minutes and able to view pictures or play videos and mp3s direct from my pc..... every every impressive Ok now for the reason people would buy this tv..... the 3D Even having seen it demo'ed briefly in my local electrical store it still freaks me out slightly at first. You know its a flat screen, thats what your brain tells you. Which is why the first few minutes take some getting used to. Seeing the sky 3d preview of the upcoming ryder cup looked amazing, to see the crowd behind the players and to be able to judge how far they are behind the players is just wierd, but in a good way. The brief natural history preview on there as quite simply incredible, seeing close ups of the creatures in 3D made the whole experience that much more tangible. Please be aware that even when the sky 3d channel launches officially on the 1st of october there isnt going to be an incredible amount of content as of yet. It will take time. While the 3D tv content is a bonus the real reason i got a 3D set was for the PS3. Again as it stands the amount of games that use 3D is very very limited but there will be more and more as time goes on. Titles and impressions include- Wipeout HD - Looks damn good, although most of the time on wipeout you are going so fast that its easy to miss the fact its in 3d, but overall the 3d works very well Super Stardust HD - Wow. An excellent arcade shooter that benefits from 3d aesthetically, although while it looks good its adds nothing to your ability to get a high score. However you wont care. Pain - If flinging someone from a catapult to smash into things is your bag then it will never look so good. Motorstorm rift 3D - 10 levels for 10 quid is not a bargain in terms of lasting playability. This game is a 10 quid tech demo of what to expect in the upcoming motorstorm apocalypse, and from the 10 quid spent it makes it a no brainer 40 quid preorder on the game with no doubts. Motorstorm looks SO much better in 3D. Going through a cloud of dust at stupid speeds only to find as you exit it that your are about smash into another car seriously makes you shy away from the tv for a second, as the other car rapidly moves in 3D towards you. Flight Control HD - The use of 3d in this game is a nice touch but really makes no difference at all to an otherwise good little game. Tumble - For a block building in 3d space puzzler the use of 3d here is a complete no brainer. It looks damn good and personally makes the whole experience alot more tangible Upcoming games in 3d include killzone 3 which should be damn good in 3d and crysis 2 which without doubt will be improved by the use of 3d. Then the there is the reason i got the tv in the first place..... gran turismo 5. There is not a single shred of doubt in my mind after seeing motorstorm that GT5 will flat out blow your mind in 3d. Fans of racing games will be in for a treat, while other game genres will be improved by 3d racing games are truely stunning and GT5 as about as good as you can get a racing game to look. So in conclusion if you are about to buy a new tv then do yourself a favour if budget allows and get a 3d set. While there may not be much content out there at the moment you are at least futureproofing yourself. Please though go to an electrical store and get a 3D set demoed before you buy. You do have to wear the glasses with this set to watch 3D so take this into consideration when making your choice. The cost for buying glasses for everyone that watches the tv may be prohibitative. Some people experience headaches from using the glasses and some people cant view 3D at all, so test drive before you buy. Also be aware the even if you got a headache watching avatar at the cinema that this tv uses active shutter technology to create 3d which is not the same as the passive technology used in the cinemas, so dont write off 3d just yet go to a shop and give it a try. I myself wear glasses normally and the sunsung glasses fit over the top with no issues and are light enough so as not to cause me any problems, even with extended use. Sorry for waffling on but hopefully its helpful.
