Was in 2 minds whether to get this or not as the warranty information was not mentioned on here in great detail, just that it's in the box. Plus it would have been my first experience with a Samsung TV also. However I thought the price was too good a value to miss out on, (when compared to other online/local retailers, this was at least £150 cheaper!) so finally bought it!
The warranty lasts for 12 months (leaflet provided in the box). Amazon delivery was great as usual, ordered on a Monday evening & arrived the Thursday afternoon using the Super free standard delivery option. You can also keep a track of where the delivery is using the online tracker.
Now, after about 4 days of use, I have to say the image quality is pretty good, excellent when watching in HD on some of the channels - amazingly crisp, sharp detail when using the PS3 also! I LOVE that I can plug in a USB device (my phone, external drive, memeory stick etc) & watch videos, listen to music & view pictures I have on there instead of using a CD all the time! I really like the design of the TV too, it has a nice glass frame on the outside all the way round so does look quite elegant & smooth.
The only issues I'm having at the moment is the controller response speed can be a bit slow & laggy when switching channels & you really do have to point the controller in a specific direction. The sound could be better also in terms of quality - but the volume it can go up to is very high so I guess that makes up for the quality when you have it turned up in the higher range. You can though change the sound to suit your viewing experience, for example if you want to hear better voice clarity, then you have the option to choose the 'voice' setting as the main sound, or if you want to listen to music with better bass, you can change it to the 'music' setting etc. There are more to choose from such as 'movie' & 'amplify', but most of the time you'd only need to use the 'standard' setting it's already on unless you do want a better sound experience.
Overall, I am not disappointed & for the price that Amazon are offering on a Samsung 40" full HD TV, it is a great deal!
*Oh and by the way, if you are going to copy & paste parts of my review & make it as your own, at least make it less obvious. You know who you are* =)

Great TV for the money. We nearly bought its predecesor a few months ago and now this replacement model is around £100 cheaper. This is our first big flat screen TV and are very impressed with everything from sound to picture quality and design. We do not play PS/Wii games etc on it, but the picture is great as far as I can tell - and the BBC HD coverage of Wimbledon is fantastic.
If you are looking for a great value, easy to set up TV with integreated HD then this is ideal, don't waste your money on anything else

Really happy with this TV. Picture quality is awesome, crystal clear images and vibrant colour. Ive only had the chance to test on 720p HD content so far from Apple TV/iTunes and BBC iPlayer but Im well happy. So impressed Im thinking about buying a blu-ray player now. I cant pick up any Freeview HD channels yet (so cant comment on that) but hopefully that will change after the switchover next month. Great for the price and if youre not bothered about 3D and Internet TV gimmickry, you'll love this TV. Truly amazing value for money. Worth the extra quids for the full HD experience. Sound not great so would be worthwhile getting a decent set of speakers to.
