By far the best 32 inch LCD TV I've seen!,
By
This review is from: Samsung LE32C530 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 50Hz LCD TV with Freeview (Electronics)
I am normally too busy to write review. But this time I had to! Before this TV, I ordered the Sony Bravia KDL32V5500U, which costs over £200 more than this one. It chose the Sony as, even though it was expensive for the size, I've always been a HUGE Sony fan (pretty much all electronics I've got is Sony) and it was considered by many to be one of the top 32 inch TVs. Unfortunately, it had a slight fault, so I had to send it back.
Then I ordered this TV and when it arrived, I couldn't believe how much better it was than the Sony unit. First of all the looks: I'm not entirely convinced by the whole "Rose Black" concept, but it actually looks really good. Overall, the TV looks really smart, modern with clean lines. The transparent bit at the bottom makes it looks even more interesting. Then, the panel itself. Straight out of the box, I loved the colours and the blacks were truly black. There was a really annoying energy saving feature turned on - it dimmed the backlight whenever there was a darker image displayed, but it was easy to turn off. After playing with settings for a while, I was able to get even better result. Truly stunning colours. I was also quite amazed how well the TV displayed not only HD content, but standard definition content too. The Sony TV was great for HD, but the upscaling of SD produced a lot of artefacts. No upscaling problems with this unit, just perfect picture! Next, sound quality. Overall great experience, although bass is missing a little bit. However, this is due to the physical size of the speakers and it's the same for all other TVs. If you like more bass, it possible to connect external speakers or (even better) a home cinema system. Again, there are a lot of settings for sound, so it was easy to find a mode that I liked (changing the settings has actually a big effect on the sound - not like some other TVs where you change settings and can't tell the difference). Finally, I love the fact that you can connect external HDD or USB memory stick with films, music or pictures on it. It even loads subtitles! Overall, I've found this TV to more than meet my feeds. Great build quality (it even has metal back!), elegant looks, outstanding pictures quality, very good sound quality, many additional features. Buy one now - you won't be disappointed.

Great Value!,

I was looking for a cheap full HD TV and saw this, after reading the other reviews I decided to go ahead with the TV and wasn't disappointed. Set up was extremely easy, the picture is fantastic, it looks nice, and the price can't be beaten.
The best feature for me on this TV was the USB input, I already have the WDTV device and has served me well but when I plugged my external hard rive into the USB it immediately recognised the device - the menus are in a nice easy format and it played every video I have , from mp4 & AVI to .MKV files (this was the biggest surprise to me that it could play the High Def file type, I have HD files and the video quality is astounding), You can resize the videos to fit the screen using the tools button and skip quickly through the file using the cursors on the remote (instead of using the fast forward and rewind, people who watch AVI's know the frustration of losing your video postion and having to fast forward at a maximum of 16x to the correct place!). All in all, if you want a full HD TV at a low price then look no further, the only downside for me was that you can't record via USB but apart from that I can't fault it.

After some fiddling with outputs from freesat HD box and Panasonic HD recorder we've got some stunning picture quality through HDMI. MP4s upscaled to twice the native resolution still look good with the media player. Everything about this box says quality apart from the price. Wii picture looks cleaner despite only coming in through the scart socket. SD can look a tiny bit fuzzy if you're too close, however sit at the right distance and the picture is better than I could have imagined. Worth finding a retailer that can sell you a 5 year guarantee for 10% of the purchase price - especially if you're not Richer (hint)
