The HD ready Samsung LE22B450 also has an integrated digital tuner for access to free to air channels. A high contrast ratio and a 1366 x 768 resolution ensure a richly detailed picture- while Samsung’s unique Wide Colour Enhancer 2 provides a multitude of brilliant colours. Tuning is simple with the auto setup function and a 170° viewing angle allows you to enjoy perfect pictures from almost anywhere in the room. Includes a matching table-top stand.
This television is ‘high definition ready’ which means it has the ability to display high definition signals with the addition of a separate HD receiver. HD broadcasts are at a much higher resolution than regular analogue or digital broadcasts and have greatly enhanced picture quality.

Recently purchased this TV/DVD as we were looking to upgrade the TV in our bedroom. I debated for a while having either a combi or a separate TV and DVD, ultimately opting for this purchase. I looked at a number of similar combi's, many at a lower price however many were not as well presented as this is, often with low resolution and very often with a max 19" screen. Was lucky enough to see this item in store (at an increased price) which really helped as I could get an up close look. Like many of Samsung products it is well constructed feeling very sturdy and it has a great look for a 22" TV. With the addition of the DVD player I had imagined that the TV would be bulky at the back, this is not the case. Additionally it is very light making it easily portable unlike the TV it is replacing, a 12" Video Combi.....
Installation was simple, out of the box all you have to do is screw in the base, two simple screws that takes a matter of minutes. Having plugged it in and connected the aerial the set up process is extremely simple, all programmes searched and installed within three minutes. Noticeably the control and menus are different than the 32" Samsung we have downstairs, this is not an issue as it is easily navigated. Out of the box there was no need to adjust picture or sound settings, the picture and sound are crystal clear. We have this TV in our bedroom with a small indoor aerial and there is no noticeable degrading of the picture quality when correctly tuned in.
This is a perfect purchase as a second TV, the combination of the DVD is great as it really cuts down on clutter of extra plugs and wires, plus it looks great. We have only had it one night so it is not fully road tested but so far so good, Although I can see that this price has increased slightly since we purchased but it is still much more competitive than other retailers, thanks to Amazon, Supersaver delivery and we had in within three days even with the recent Snow related problems.

Ordered this on the wednesday evening&it arrived the very next day, 1st class delivery service from Amazon. Bought this wee tv for the daughters bedroom&ive gotta say im very impressed with it. Im a huge sony fan but they have no selection wotsoever in the tv/dvd combi so decided to invest in a samsung after reading other reviews+im not disappointed. The picture quality is fantastic&after having read other comments about the sound i think its no different to any other tv. Ive a 40" sony bravia&the sound on it isnt exactly the greatest, all in all its a cracking buy for a bedroom or a kitchen...wouldnt hesitate in buying another or recommending to someone else.

After a lot of looking around i decided on this one and i am so glad i did. The build quality, picture quality and sound quality are by far superior to the other 'cheaper' less known brands on offer. Setup is simple and you're away. The DVD player is excellent and whisper quiet so it cannot be heard during playback.
