Capturing nature is the goal of an artist. We've achieved it as well with our Wide Colour Enhancer. Our unique 3D colour stretching technology saturates each pixel until it achieves the true colour and luminescence intended by nature. So every colour on the RGB spectrum is brought to life. It is a work of art.

Worth the money,
By Eirik (North Yorkshire) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Samsung LE19C450 19-inch Widescreen HD Ready 50Hz LCD TV with Freeview (Electronics)
When trawling through numerous reviews (on small lcd's this time) we all take on board the comments, both positve and negative. I did so with this model. Not many reviews to compare to, unlike earlier LE19B450 model which scored well.
Product arrived faster then I expected via super saver. Package was totally unmarked, and inside was well protected. Setup is really too simple - and it works! No missed packets (channels)and default settings are fine for most. Remote control is an upgraded version to previous model and albeit large, it seems well built too. The issue of sound! Some earlier comments refer to the tinny or box like sound. Now forgive me, but I am not financially blessed enough afford to live in a Castle, converted Methodist Church or renovated Ballroom - so for me the sound output of the downfiring speakers was perfectly sufficient for the tv's intended use, a bedroom or kitchen. You will find that the menu provided numerous settings for tweaking. Failing that - buy a set of decent Logitech speakers or something. There are plenty of inputs to the rear. On set control buttons are "touch buttons" which may not be physically obvious at casual glance. Stand setup was not hard to work out. There is a rather large button to the rear of the stand, press it and fold forwards. Simple. Mine folded with no resistance at all. So, if this model is on your shortlist - be tempted to pop it into your basket.

Mmmmm I think some of the other reviewers might be technical experts, so I will just say it as I see it. TV is fine, good picture, good sound, found 96 Digital channels (incl radio). Easy to operate. Good picture on digital TV - the only thing that matters as analogue will go in 2011. Sound quality to me is fine. As good to me as my Plasma 42 inch Panasonic - only smaller. But as I say I am only a mere mortal!

Nice little TV. I've got it connected up for Freeview reception in the smallest bedroom and it all works fine. People have complained about the sound but you simply can't expect cinematic sound from such small internal speakers! I think some people have expectations way beyond what is physically possible. The sound is customisable anyway so you can boost the bass frequencies a touch if you need to.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this TV. Good value for money.
