Bought this item last september (2011) from Amazon/Hughes Direct and have subsequently returned it 4 times to Hughes Direct for repair. They have upgraded firmware, replaced laser but item still has same fault. Final time they now claim they can't find a fault after 5 days of testing, returned the item and my daughter age 6 found the fault with 30 mins of a cinderella DVD. The duty manager, told me there was nothing hem could do and put the phone down. In conclusion I'm sure they are great if the items good, but beware if you're unlucky like me, you're stuffed, Hughes Direct are not interested, return it early so Amazon will help you. Don't be stuck like me. Although the original fault was within 90 days of the Amazon safety policy, because I went through the repair channels with Hughes Direct and by the book, Amazon won't help me. No justice.
