Amazon Verified Purchase
As already mentioned by others it does not include the USB to Galaxy cable which is of course not a standard USB cable, please also note the Samsung cable is only about 1 metre long when you get one.
Lastly the HDMI socket is a HDMI Mini one so yet more expense buying a HDMI Mini to standard cable and again as reported it will not play all your content back.
My idea of buying it was for music to go to sleep from but the provided music player on the Galaxy has no sleep function so it will play all night.
I will search for another app which may offer this feature...

First I must admit that I do have a Samsung television too which might explain why it was so easy to use this product.
When you connected the device to the television and plugged your tab into it then at once without having to make any clicks or any selections or even getting any messages you had a perfect picture on the television screen. It projects a 1080p signal with 30 frames per second to the television.
The picture quality is very very high. The only thing I have ever seen give the same quality is some of the high end blue ray players. Its a pleasure to see movies using the tab as a media center and it even makes many youtube videos good to watch on your television.
The tab automatically directs video signals to the television but still keep some kind of control interface on its own screen making it into effectively a remote control.
The dock recharge a little bit slower than just plugging the cable directly into the tab though.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this as I wanted a handy dock in my bedroom to quickly slip my Samsung Galaxy Tab in for recharging and was hoping to leave the USB/recharge/transfer cable that came with the machine coupled to my computer. Not to be. The dock arrives without any connecting cables at all and I think this is a bit cheap of Samsung, though many other manufacturers are the same in their attitude to buyers. I paid £29.94 9 (free p&p) through Amazon for this simple stand - for without cables that is all it is, a pretty looking stand - and must now go and spend another tenner or so to make it capable of charging the Galaxy Tab. Bit of a rip-off (IMHO!)
