Yes you can. If you can use mobile data on your phone then putting that SIM into the camera will also give you access to mobile data. Make sure you don't fall foul of your carrier though. They might think that this device is a heavy user of data and if you are on an unlimited data plan they might complain.

Need a sim card if you want to upload pictures to facebook, dropbox, cloud when there is no wi-fi connection. Mine came with sim included so look at what's included. Also I recommend a case to protect the screen.

Yes it does have a warranty. I'm a retired professional photographer. I bought one for my wife. Was so impressed I have one myself. Fab for hols.
