Until I unearthed this little gem, I was using a Nokia Xpress 5310 "smart phone". Whilst it was all singing and dancing with it's bells and whistles, somewhere in it's development it had forgotten it's fundamental function.
As a PHONE - it sucked, with poor reception and signal strength. And it required charging every 2 days!
So I decided to get back to basics. Having read other reviews of the Samsung E1150, I purchased one via Amazon & Fonz direct, popped in my sim and switched on.
Oh joy of joys, I can now phone from areas I could not previously, and with a clarity hitherto unmatched. The battery barely needs charging once weekly!
Compared to the roof slate that I used to carry, it is small, lightweight and could hardly be easier to operate. For anyone who really only requires to talk'n'text, this phone takes some beating.

Great phone for someone looking for a good value basic phone without all those bells and whistles that you probably will never use. The seller delivered extremely quickly, well packaged and at a great price. I couln't have asked for more.

I bought this phone for my wife. She is very pleased with it because of the very good battery life and once closed it's impossible to accidentally press any buttons which is perfect for a handbag.

Beware this phone is T-Mobile Branded
Be aware that the phone I received is T-Mobile branded on the phone itself (unlike in the advertising picture). Also the phone has T-Mobile branding on the splash screen. Read more

Samsung flip

Very basic, too small
This item looks bigger in the picture than in real life. Only get this if you want something really small. Also very basic settings, very backwards compared with newer samsungs. Read more
