The SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab Clip-in case is a case specifically made for the Tab 8.9. The Tablet clips into the case, holding your tablet in a landscape position. When opened it can be adjusted to hold the device in a touch screen typing position or in a more upright video watching position.
To close the case there is a curled hinged section around the rear of the case which then holds the cover securely closed preventing damage to the unit or screen. The case has access holes so you can charge the Tablet without removing it from the case.
The Case is finished in a hard wearing synthetic material that gives the product a rugged but stylish look and feel. The case is available in two colours, black for the business look or ivory for a fresh modern look.

The best cover for galaxy tab, because with it, the tablet still thin and beautiful, unlike the fat leather cover.
Few problems like power button but not volume buttons can be pushed when it closed and we can't charge the tablet when she's closed...

A very nice cover for Galaxy Tab 8.9
Looks very ellegant.
Pros:
- protects the tab really well (the cover is pretty hard)
- can be used as a stand
Cons:
- in order to charge the tab, you must lift the magnetic latch
- you cannot use the back camera with the cover folded backwards - the way you are folding it to use the tab. It has a hole for the camera, but just on the side that fits the back.

If like me you didn't want a leather option, then this offering from Samsung product provides perfect protection for your tablet. I think it looks quite stylish too, with the Samasung logo on the top edge.
The lower side of the cover is quite sticky/grippy - handy for me as I work on a small ship and this means I generally find it where I left it!
The charging/sync port can easily be reached without having to fully open the cover, there is an overlapping edge that holds it closed that just has to be moved to access it.
Though only clipped in, the cover holds the tablet securely. I was originally looking for a cover and a screen protector. However, after a couple of months use, with the tough glass on the device and this cover, I think there is no need for a screen protector.
As you have probably spotted - SGT owners are not spoilt for choice on the availability of covers for the device - even more so for the 8.9" version. But we are rather lucky that this product is one of them.
