I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She wanted a laptop/notebook for email, Skype, Word and the Internet. This is an inexpensive quality machine that really does the job. If you want a blindingly fast games machine this is not for you, but as a system to do basic 'adult' work its perfect. Its nicely presented and works as you would expect right out of the box. It has a very nice screen and the various buttons etc., easily come to hand. I am sure there are many similar but you wont make a mistake with this one.

Very pleased with this - my first laptop. Excellent keyboard - not cramped like some other models. Good clear screen. Glad this is the one I opted to buy in the end, after all the confusion of looking at all the different makes & models on the market.

I am a student and bought this laptop going into my final year. It so far has not disappointed. I was told when shopping around that I most certainly had to buy a laptop with at least a 'core i3' because this would be faster. This laptop doesn't have that, but it runs perfectly well. I don't know how it could possibly run any faster. I mainly use it for microsft office, internet, downloading and playing videos and music; the speed is great, the screen is really clear and large enough to enjoy watching films on, the keyboard nicely spread out and the internal speakers not bad quality. All in all a very good buy.
I don't know how this laptop would handle doing hi tech stuff or advanced gaming as I'm not into that, but if you're just looking for a standard laptop for writing documents and using the internet I highly recommend it. Perfect for students.
