Overall very pleased, and I will be happy to recommend this device to my friends.
March 2012 update ...
Having used this printer for 5 months I am very pleased with its performance, no negative comments. In the review above I said print quality OK, that is because it defaults to normal print quality, which is OK. If you want good quality you need to select best quality in the printer properties. I am just sterting to replace the cartridges, black went last month and now the coloured are going or gone. These are the low capacity ones supplied with the machine, the replacement cartridges are expensive, app £120 for a set so am hoping for longer lasting with the replacements.
Comes very well protected (in a big box).
Worked 1st time, excellent results for copy, scan and print.
Gives the impression of maybe not being so robust (like the flimsy slide-out tray that catches copies) so worth seeing one before buying IF you are going to use it with kids/office staff around.
However I'm very pleased with it and have now printed about 250 pages perfectly and it has a very good scanner - better than the similarly priced HP that I saw.
Unlike some machines it has 4 functions: fax's, copies, prints and scans
Still, I do like the Samsung printer for all other printing jobs!
