Fantastic printer!!!!!! Very well made and able to produce colour images of outstanding quality. I found it very easy to set up for use with my Apple iMac running OSX 10.6.7 and was able to start printing documents within 15 minutes of unpacking it. The software provided includes something called Smart Panel enabling the user to configure all the print settings from the computer and accurately monitor toner usage. For those concerned with the ongoing costs the printer can be set up in draft mode to reduce toner usage. Really pleased!

Unlike some earlier network-attached printers I have used, this Samsung was a proper plug-in-and-go experience. It is very easy to use in duplex mode, and it prints envelopes effortlessly.

It is bulky and heavy, but that's fairly inevitable given it has four cartridges.

The quality of printing is pretty standard for a colour laser - no-one can tell the difference between this and equivalent HP models. But the user experience with the Samsung is definitely better.

This printer is strongly recommended.

The purchase of this printer was forced by Xerox not providing an OS X Lion driver. When I found out that the 6100DN was a rebadged Samsung it made sense to go direct. The thing is solidly built, the speed to first page is amazing after the Xerox. It even has WiFi which makes siting it so much more flexible.

And like a microwave, once you've had duplex you cannot live without it.

What a great deal I had with this printer. Really good price for a seemingly very good duplex colour laser printer... only time will tell. Downside is its very heavy with a large footprint which maybe a problem for a home office. Delivery was very prompt and packaging good, only drawback is they use CityLink who are next to useless in this area and as always I ended up travelling 25 miles to collect parcel despite trying to accommodate suitable delivery arrangements. I would certainly recommend this company and will use them again but I would prefer a different courier.

This is an excellent, if very noisy, printer. It just prints no problem, with good colour and reasonable speed. However, the amount of toner supplied with it is minuscule so add another £400 to your budget for a full set of cartridges. And if you try to run for as long as possible without changing the toner cartridge, it will suddenly stop and refuse to print at all. So make sure you buy your toner cartridge when it starts asking for it or you may find yourself stuck.

Well priced duplex printer that is quick and reletaviely economic to run. Produces high quality black/white and colour printing. Good buy if you need to print in volume.

Not the qietest machine but that is it's only slightly negative point.

Not much to say really; it prints great and has the duplex facility. Only slight downside is if printing from the drop down tray for labels etc, it can sometimes take in several sheets at a time. The print exit area can also occasionally catch the first sheet printed so it folds over - you've then got a mess of paper backing up behind it. Overall though it's fine and I would buy the same machine again. I use it for work purposes and only use it's only used for colour prints; I have a regular mono laser for ordinary prints.

Just installed this to replace a worn-out HP 3600 that we'd had for many years. Network install (Small business server 2003) was straightforward, after which workstation connection was simple (Vista and Windows 7). Prints clean and quick, duplex definitely a bonus. I've had one photo-quality document fail to print at all, no matter what I tried (printer receives it, makes some noises, prints nothing, then deletes it from the print queue), so only time will tell how it responds to graphics-intensive print runs.

No manual feed flap or tray, which is a bit annoying and risks someone else printing over any specialty paper that is inserted in the paper tray.
