Great item - I always buy originals, no problems with the print quality from start to end of the toner's life does not decrease as toner comes to the end. When it does start to go I remove from printer give it a good shake and I can get another 1 to 2 weeks out of it - based on small office usage. But generally in a small office environment I can get around 2 months usage (thats with printing letters, key features, application, policy booklets on a frequent basis). Good value for the money, although I have never used a compatible toner so wouldn't know how they'd compare.

There's not much you can say about a laser printer cartridge. It arrived in good condition, very expeditiously. But, I suspect, for most people it's the cost of the cartridge that is the real concern. Of course, this is true for almost all printers but the Samsung Laser Printer (complete with a set of cartridges - starter cartridges, they're called - about 2/3 normal capacity)costs hardly any more than a complete set of cartridges.

Replace the cartridge that comes with your printer as it runs out after about 1000 pages. These new ones will do about 1500 pages! Wait til your current toner runs out before actually fitting the new one. Ensure all the toner is used up by taking the old cartridge out and shaking it gently and tapping it on the side to ensure all the toner is used up and none wasted. When you are satisfied that its really empty (and its not just the printer telling you its empty) then you can fit the new one.

Get this to keep your printer going for another year

It's what I ordered
Does what it's meant to do. No problems with the installation but do make sure the thing is empty before forking out for another one e.g. shake it about etc.
