Defintely worth buying if you are interested in fashion. The cover alone makes the book stand out and feel special then there are the photographs and and the drawings which are interesting as you don't often get to see final sketched drawings. The layout of the book is stunning and the size of the book really shows off the photographs. There is not alot of text but there is enough imformation if you want to find out more about the designers. It is one of the best fashion books i've seen. It's simply a beautiful book

A look into the world of modern fashion design 22 Jan 2006
By Jane Burson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This book is absolutely fabulous, there's no other way to say it. Whether you're looking for a gift for someone who simply loves fashion, or are someone who loves fabric and the art of fabric manipulation (which is generaly called clothing), this tome is an excellent resource for information on up-and-coming fashion and designers. As a textiles & apparel major I find this book to be a great source of inspiration, but the layout, the wealth of large beautiful photos, and the artistic design of the book itself would make it a great coffee table book. The book is also a great bargain on Amazon, I have seen it for sale in several stores for upwards of $90. If I could give it more than five stars I would!

decoration 9 Jan 2007
By Julia V. Noronha - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
It presents recent collections from interesting designers from all over the world. It serves as a good introduction to some of them, so afterwards you can get to know each one's collection better. Good reviews, very nice images. And apart from that, a very nice book to use as a decoration for your office. : )

disappointed by cover 17 Sep 2008
By B. Edwards - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I have seen this book in stores and love it, however when i ordered it it arrived without the beautiful cover its famous for and which i expected from the product description it would have. The content, i presume, is still the same and therefore makes it a great reference book but i was very disappointed it didn't have the beautiful white pleated paper cover.
