My 11 year old son erected this goal by himself. He loves it. Too soon to tell if the netting will stand up to the weather but it seems substantial. We are looking forward to plenty of use.

Having purchased two previous 10 x 6 goalposts within the last year, (one plastic and one metal framed) both of these had been literally destroyed by my 13 year old son taking non-stop full-power shots from 10-15 yards. After about 5 months of use, the first, plastic set (bought for £60) had suffered several tears in the netting plus about 3 irrepairable cracks and fractures to both the crossbar and one upright, eventually just falling apart. The replacement, metal posts, which I figured would be unbreakable, were bought for £24 but were absolute rubbish. The nets ripped easily and the flimsy metal posts simply bent far too easily, before breaking. That set was in the bin within only 5 weeks! I was ready to write off the idea of garden goalposts as being mere toys best bought for under 10s, until I decided to have a final look for some really strong garden goalposts, and found the name of Samba. Advertised as virtually unbreakable, they were more expensive than the previous two sets put together, however I decided to by them and have been so far delighted. They immediately looked and felt much more substantial and better quality than the first plastic posts I had bought, and after the first few weeks of some pretty heavy use by my son (and myself), the nets are still perfect and so is the frame. It was false economy to buy the cheapo products, and I wish I'd just bought the Samba goals in the first place. Excellent product - highly recommended.

Had this goal a few weeks now and my son thinks it is fantastic. It is easy to set up and well made. We had a smaller one before which we left out in the garden all the time for 6 years. Although the plastic had become a little brittle we were still using it we just wanted a bigger goal.
Delivery was excellent less than 24 hours

I can't see how you could improve on this item. Easy to fit together once you ahve worked out where the clips go and numbered to match the diagram. It's essentially a pile of cut up white plastic down pipe with bespoke fixings at the corners. Net looks like it will last a few years and easy to attach.

Great product quite easy to fit together (as long as you follow the instructions). Very robust which is necessary for my kids who love to play 'cross bar challenge'. We use it as a 'permanent fixture' in the garden, but due to its light weight its easy to move around as necessary. My only negative comment is that it wasnt 100% clear that this product does not come with a 'kit bag'. This will cost an additional c£20, and so we havent ordered it. But it would be useful to have when the season kicks off and practice sessions begin.

After buying a succession of cheap goals, one of which lasted just a week I agreed with my wife that false economy is no use, so we bought a Samba goal.
As I put it up for a surprise I had to do it on my own, which is not ideal, but still only took 30 minutes. The goal is superb, but the garden wont need mowing until 2016.

Very durable, and being used all day every day by an 11 year old and a 6 year old, so is taking plenty of hammering, especially when it's my turn to be in goal.

It is this durability why most junior clubs use Samba goals. Highly recommended by all the family

Purchased the 12 x 6 for my 11 year old son to replace a smaller Samba goal bought 3 years ago. Excellent product which was very easy to put together in the garden. Both goals were purchased from the Soccer Store who gave excellent service. They used DPD delivery who gave plenty of information about delivery time and arrived when they said they would. The smaller goal although it has been in the garden for three years is still in good condition and I expect the larger goal to last as long. I purchased the locking goal first time for the smaller goal but not for the larger goal. Doesn't seem to be a problem as the net keeps the joints tight together. I think that we may need to use some tape on the joints as time goes on and the net starts to stretch.
