I was looking to replace my ancient beloved mechanical scales but couldn't quite find what I was looking for so started to investigate the digital ones. Eventually decided to go with these mainly because as they are inexpensive I could afford to make a mistake! Well, blow me down, they are brilliant, extremely easy to use and in my opinion far more accurate than mechanical scales. They look good, are as light as a feather and so easy to store. Changing between ounces and grams couldn't be easier and it's very handy that you can weigh stuff straight into your mixing bowl (less washing-up!).

Salter Arc Electronic Scale White; This was exactly what I wanted , slimline neat add and weigh facility so everything can go straight in a bowl without having to adjust for weight. Battery was included. The first scale which arrived looked great but the battery was faulty and the instruction leaflet unclear. I returned it and the replacement arrived really promptly. The new battery worked fine and I was able to use the scales. I have now used it three times and on each occasion have had to replace the battery. The scales revert to zero when the bowl is removed , press button digital figure disappears.Off? I've now reverted to removing the battery after using the scales to ensure its workable for the next time. Shame as it takes the joy out of a sleek easy appliance

Scales didn't work at all, really annoying. Refund process was efficient but would have preferred to have received goods that worked first time.

Good product at a fair price
Lovely little set of measuring scale. They're big enough for most peoples need needs while small enough to fit in a draw.

Light and small but works perfectly
I bought this to measure ingredients for baking and it works perfectly. It turns off in a few minutes after use so that the battery doesn't drain out. Read more

just what i wanted so easy to store when not in use

Does the Job
These scales are compact easy to use. I like the fact that I can weigh & mix in the one bowl by returning the scale to 0 before adding the next ingredient, saves time & washing up.
