Great for cooking large meats 9 Aug 2010

This is great for cooking large lumps of meat as you stick it in before you put it in the oven. its not so great if you want to check that small things like sausages are cooked. Best chicken ever, and pink lamb at last!

Wouldn't do without one of these, in fact its in the leg of lamb that's cooking in the oven as I type this. If you want your meat cooked to your liking and do not have a oven with a probe then one of these is great. I especially like it when we cook beef as we like it medium and this tells you exactly.

I've had this for a few months now and its been fine.
Looks good and is sturdy (I've dropped it twice and it still works)
I like medium-rare beef/venison and now I can get it perfect.
This is for larger pieces of meat, not sausages!
