Good old fashioned no singing and dancing scales. Perfect on carpet and sloping floors. Sooo easy to read dial even from 5ft away,just wish they werent quite as brutal with the truth. Love them. Service was fantastic they arrived within 48hrs. Havent had to reset them and use them every day,so this ostrich has finally taken her head OUT of the sand...well recommended and look at the price!!!

I bought these mechanical bathroom scales as Salter is a well known brand name. They are a good sturdy set of scales with a large easy to read dial. I found that they were not accurate on my carpeted bedroom floor, they must be used on a flat surface to give an accurate reading, since I moved them to my bathroom which has a flat tiled floor these scales work perfectly fine, providing an accurate reading every time, albeit I'm far too heavy lol ! I like the old fashioned traditional look of these scales. These are good quality scales.

Great product. Does what it should do. Build quality seems good and it's not as sensitive to uneven surfaces or carpets as the electronic ones.
