Bought to replace a previous Salter scale that decided to fall apart after years of use. The dial is nice and clear, the bowl is well shaped and a reasonable size, and there's a fine adjustment knob for setting the scale to zero. Made of plastic so long term durability could be less than ideal. It's a nice touch that the scales can be stored in the bowl when the unit is not in use.
