Wanted a mechanical scale as I'm sick of electronic ones breaking. This is also a measuring jug too, so I liked it for that. Very cheap and good quality.

I use this item for baking with my four year old. Ideal as you dont have to worry about the scales being too fragile. Very easy to use, simply turn base to zero when the jug is in place for easy to read weighing. No need to transfer goods to another bowl for mixing as the weighing jug is plently big enough to use as a mixing bowl.

These scales arrived in very good time, but had me perplexed for about 10 minutes at the simplicity of the design. All built into the base, you simply turn the jug to the start (0lbs) and weigh in. No fuss, nonsense or extra paraphernalia required! Brilliant quick, simple and so easy my kids love to weigh the cake mixes with it too! Washing it is a doddle and they are the best scales I have ever used. No more padantic electronic ones for me, cheap, easy and simple to the core. Brilliant!

doesnt evan work
I brought this at christmas and when i went to use it the over day for the first time, i didnt check it when i recieved it but it is broken, so i havent been able to use it!!

Not easy
Working with young children is not easy with these scales. Children leaning over the bowl obviously upsets the weight.
