I'm in love with your music. Such a fresh sound and the vocals are brilliant. beth sounds like she means every single word with every ounce of her body. i read on another review that they didn't like the production, but i couldn't disagree more. the production suits the music so well and really adds to what the music is about.
come back to the uk. soon.

Remarkable album from this American band led by and starring Beth Cameron who has a spectacular voice being both sexy and scary at the same time. She reminds me of Polly Harvey, especially when speaking/whispering the lyrics and Dolores from The Cranberries (Zombie era) when more animated. There are numerous time changes in the music and some great bursts of noise. It's all very moody/dark/atmospheric and passionate. It's very difficult to compare their overall sound to anyone but somewhat of a mix between Scary Mansion, Slint & Pavement.

A good friend of mine gave me both of 'Forget cassettes' albums, after he saw them live and loved them.
This is a great album. No two ways about it. It has power, punch and superb vocals. On the production side of things, if you like your music polished, with effects strewn through it, then you will probably not like the sound of this album. This album has been recorded about as honestly as you can get. I would put money on it being recorded live, with all the band playing together. When you play this through a decent system, it sounds so real, like you're in the room with them. Also, the album is a real grower. I liked it on the first listen, but it gets better and better. One of my favourite bands, now.
