Really enjoyed this dvd and will continue to refer to it. Teaches you the basic steps for you to dance salsa on your own. Quite energetic but at a comfortable and achieveable pace - and much more fun than a keep fit dvd! Only thing that dissapointed me a little was that it seemed too short (although it is over a hour in length). I would have liked to have seen putting the basic steps together with a partner, after all most people will probably want to use the steps learnt with someone else. Hopefully a 'next steps' dvd will follow. Worth the money and good fun.

I have been doing Salsa for a few months, and this was good for re-inforcing the basic steps and builds them up nicely. The only criticsm that I would have is that the pace of the music was rather quick, especially for beginners but it does give you a good work out!!

If you already know the basic steps it is probably not worth getting this DVD.

I completely disagree with the one star critic! As a complete newcomer I found the progressive, methodical approach very helpful as the teacher added steps but reinforced the earlier learning. I found another 5* rated dvd much less use, so there you are!

Strangely, the couple on the front of the DVD never appear in it. You just watch a class having their very first lesson but there is no dancing in couples. Read more
