Xbox fibre optic cable,

Finally a console peripheral, which isn’t overpriced! Before you even think about buying the fibre optic cable you should know that you need the advanced scart cable to use it and some third party advanced pack have a optical cable included. With this item you are not getting ripped off (for once) it is the same price as most fibre optic cables found in most electronic shops the only difference is that the xbox cable is longer. Once everything is fitted in and you’ve got you’re 5.1 surround sound the quality is outstanding, it makes the whole experience 10 times better, when playing halo with Dolby digital you can hear absolutely everything, from your heartbeat to bullets flying past your head. I would advise anyone with an xbox to invest into surround sound; it just adds a new dimension to the xbox experience

Hard to fault, so simple,

This is just a simple bit of kit that goes from your advanced scart kit on your Xbox, to your digital amplifier/receiver. Hard to fault, does the job fine. Please be aware that you should only buy this as a replacement if you lose/damage the one you get with the Advanced Scart kit (I didn't realise you get a fibre optic cable with the Advanced Scart Kit, and ended up with a spare). I did notice that it's the same cable that is used on the PS2, which is simpler and just goes directly from the back of the PS2 to your digital amp/receiver. good value

This cable totally transforms you gaming experience. Before I had my XBOX connected through my amp by scart cable. The addition of the Xbox Fibre Optical Cable makes one hell of a difference. The sound suddenly becomes much clearer, you begin to hear small subtle effect that simply were not present before, playing HALO in 5.1 is intense. You could probably turn off you TV, and have a high rate of success playing the game by just listening for the bad guys. I recommend this is anyone with a Dolby Surround Sound setup.
