I was first given this as a present many years ago when I realised that the rest of my family were simply no challenge whatsoever. It is really only suitable for a beginner or someone looking for a simple challenge. I am in hospital a lot usually full of strong drugs and I find this to be an excellent companion when I have a slightly befuddled mind. It is the easiest chess computer to use I have ever come across. The instructions are clear and lucid. there are only a few buttons and even a small child could learn to use this unaided in just a few minutes. You also get a very decent set of instructions that explain how to play the game of chess and how to understand the scoring system. The computer has 64 levels plus some excellent teaching modes. For the price this really is the perfect place to start. No point spending any more until you know you want to go further into possibly the deepest game in the world.
