Ok well its not entirely bad, you get the basics, the missions in detail and challenges etc, all the locations (though some mistakenly in slightly inaccurate places to the actual locations!), basically it covers everything... Or does it?
In some places it goes into a little detail of what you gain and the options of missions you get to choose the outcome of, but not always! Most of whats in the guide is in the game, i.e, the challenges are literally just copied text from the game.. nothing more!!! So what is the use of a guide that doesn't guide you? Not alot to be honest, now the game is great! But the guide is just like copyright! You can get all the locations of things in game when unlocking the bonus in the game mobile, bar the locations of gang active territories which you find by walking/driving close past them. Most of the "choice" missions don't have any real detail in what exactly you unlock, some missions will give you special equipment or clothing/vehicles etc others will give more money or respect but nothing is given in the guide! I can't speak for the absurdly priced "standard official guide" but the white covered Studio Edition gives nothing much but a little heads up before playing the mission.
Very disappointed but still, atleast the game is good, save yourself a £10 note here though!
