Format:Audio CD
Every so often as I cruise amazon.co.uk for stuff that has thus far slipped under the wires of availability on my side of the pond, I find a wonder and this was the latest and greatest. Not a lot of info around it seems on this one, but this disk seems to be a compilation of live radio performance tracks featuring some of their great work from STENORETTE and others. Beautiful washing walls of noise and plaintive wailing, huge wet beats and cavernous presences. Haunting is a word that could probably be overused here. Very sweet. The highlight for me: "Tango Non" and the way it breaks down into the experimental ambient sidetrack called only "Non..." Glad this act seems to still be around and would hope there will be more new material on the way...!
