Product Description

This SainSonic SSZ-200B UNIVERSAL 3D Glasses is developed by SainSonic.

Features

* Rechargeable
Not Battery Powered - These glasses are rechargeable not battery powered. This saves you the time and hassle from having to drive to a store, find the right battery and then possibly lose them once you get them home. On a full charge (approximately 2.5 hours) these glasses can run for around 35 hours before needing to be recharged again.

* Simple One Button Operation w/ Auto Shut Off
This design is one that just makes obvious sense to us. A simple one button On/Off Power button - no guessing or messing around with a button that also doubles as a programming button to make things more complicated than it needs to be. Easy to operate and

* Wide Viewing Angle
These have a very nice lens size which gives you a large viewing angle. The glasses will work maximatily in about 20FT distance, horizontally 110°and vertically 70°

Having only been supplied with one pair of Samsung shutter glasses when we purchased our Samsung C7000 50 inch plasma 3D television (brilliant tv) a year ago, we have not had much use out of the 3D facility as extra Samsung glasses were too expensive for occasional family use. Having seen SainSonic SSZ-200B shutter glasses well reviewed and being sold at half the price of the Samsung originals, I purchased a pair to see if they were truly compatible with my tv. The results were as good if not better than the Samsung SSG-2100AB that came with the set and had the advantage of being rechargeable. I immediately ordered another two pairs to equip the whole family ready for the Olympics opening ceremony. The best laid plans - two friends turned up and we had to watch the whole thing in 2D! Sadly 3D is not a very 'sociable' media! Having recorded the BBC 3D broadcast, we watched it later and were again impressed with the glasses. There is occasional flicker depending on the room lighting but the results were the same with the Samsung and the SainSonic glasses. The broadcast quality also affects the clarity of the 3D experience and can vary with different camera angles.

The glasses can be worn comfortably over the top of normal glasses although varifocal wearers may have problems.

If you want some fun with 3D viewing and you are looking for a reasonably priced alternative to the grossly overpriced Samsung glasses for the C7000 or similar 3D tv, I would recommend the SainSonic SSZ-200B glasses.

Panasonsick want to charge me three times as much for a very similar product that doesn't recharge via USB. As far as I can tell the viewing experience is indiscernable from Panasonic's own unit. I need more glasses fro my extra family coming round for the 3D Doctor Who in November... I tried one pair and I am going on line to order some more right now!!!

Got these for my LG LX9900 with next day delivery 1 month trial. They were delivered fine and very comfortable to ware, however the battery was dead like permanently dead. No matter how much charging they would not stay on. I managed to get them working by leaving them plugged in and switching them on, and for the first 30 seconds I thought yeah, just need a pair with a working battery. Then I began to see what people had reported on this and other websites. A FLICKER ISSUE flowing from right to left every 30 - 60 seconds. I observed this most with the Right eye lens and it was impossible for me to watch a whole 3D movie or even five minutes with this annoyance. I returned them and got the cheaper and slightly less comfortable UeroTek universal 3D glasses that worked as good if not better than the original LG glasses as well as working on other TV's.
